Papa Don’t Preach

All week I’ve been made fun of by various residents in this house while wearing this shirt. Look! She’s a sailor! It didn’t help when one day the Estonian and I both came to breakfast dressed in our matching striped sailor shirts.

What I didn’t realize is what we should have said to them when they laughed, until I found myself watching the “Papa Don’t Preach” video tonight and looked down at what I was wearing.

“Ugh, I’m cool with it, so was Madonna, and you are being SOOOOO Danny Aiello right now.”
