Motion City Soundtrack - “Everyone Will Die” 

I’m about a month or two late to giving this album a proper listen (I got stuck listening to “True Romance” over and over), but today I decided to put the album on and this song really stuck out to me. Here’s the band talking about the meaning and the recording of it. The whole album is great, but this song in particular spoke loud and clear to me:

Everyone will die
And everyone will lose
So what you gonna do
With the moments you have before it’s you? 

Bummed these guys couldn’t make it to Bunbury; I think they would have been the highlight of the festival. Hopefully they’ll be back.
